Library

Though it may not look like in from the photos there are actually some bookshelves in the library! Unfortunately we forgot to take any photos of them. Guests are welcome to read any of the books on the shelves here and after nearly 15 years of lettings we have a pretty decent selection of well-thumbed (if sometimes suntan oil-stained!) volumes on offer.

The library can either be i) a nice quiet spot to write some postcards or ii) a kids’ bolthole for iPads and games. The choice is yours! It is also the gateway to the Soult Wing with an ironwork spiral staircase leading to bedrooms 5 and 6. Bedroom 4 on the ground floor and a shower room are also off it.
